Fort Wayne police make arrest in East Central Towers stabbing

Police say Foster came into the police station to be interviewed around 5 p.m. Saturday and shortly after was charged with aggravated battery.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Police have made an arrest in the fatal stabbing that took place Friday evening.

The Fort Wayne police arrested 52-year-old Michael Foster in connection to the fatal stabbing of a man that took place at East Central Towers.

Police say Foster came into the police station to be interviewed around 5 p.m. Saturday and shortly after was charged with aggravated battery.

FWPD initially named Foster as a person of interest shortly after the stabbing.

At this time the name of the victim has not been released by the coroner.

Detectives say Foster will make an appearance Monday morning in Allen County Superior Court.
