FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne police and fire are investigating a car explosion that occurred Wednesday afternoon.
Just after 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, first responders responded to the 7500 block of Bradbury Ave. about a vehicle on fire that was burning and two homes nearby started burning because of it.
None of the families were home and at this time and officers are not sure how the vehicle caught on fire.
A neighbor told FOX 55 that the fire had to be put out by the Fort Wayne Fire Department.
Other neighbors who live nearby say no one heard an explosion, they just saw the FWPD and FWFD outside their homes.
No injuries were reported to first responders.
I’m told by a neighbor that a car exploded on Bradbury Avenue, burning the sides of two homes. None of the families were home and there’s no idea how the truck caught on fire. You can see the wall on one sidebofbrhebhouse pretty messed up @FOX55FortWayne pic.twitter.com/wUs5gcmQvA

Although I’ve talked to three other people who live nearby and no one heard any explosion, they just saw the PD/FD outside their homes...
