FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Detectives announced Thursday they have made an arrest in a July shooting that left one man dead and two others injured.
Detectives with the Fort Wayne Police Department said they arrested 28-year-old Darrius Holliness Wednesday evening in connection to the death of 29-year-old Frederick D. Sanders back in late July.

Police said Holliness was arrested and charged with murder and criminal recklessness as well as possession of cocaine.
Sanders was shot and killed at a party on the 1100 block of East Lewis Street just before 4 a.m. on July 26.
FWPD says they will have additional information on the arrest of Holliness Friday.
