FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- A Fort Wayne man was sentenced to serve 85 years in prison Friday for gunning down another man inside his home.
In July an Allen County jury found 22-year-old Trenton Fye guilty of murdering 28-year-old Kenneth Jerome Frierson II.
Frierson was killed inside his Werling Drive home at 1:15 a.m. on June 19, 2020.
Fye was also wounded in the shooting.
A judge sentenced Fye to serve 65 years for the murder and an additional 20 years for using a gun in the commission of a felony.
Investigators say Fye could face even more charges.
Greater Fort Wayne Crime Stoppers says police have reason to believe Fye is a person of interest in multiple other homicides and violent crimes.
