FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — A Fort Wayne man is in the hospital with serious injuries after crashing his snowmobile Thursday evening on private property.
Conservation officers with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources responded Thursday at 5:09 p.m. to the area near the intersection of Minnich and Maples roads in eastern Allen County.
Officers say 54-year-old Brian Poor was driving his snowmobile on private property without the owner's permission, when he hit a ditch and was ejected from the vehicle.
Investigators say Poor was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
He was taken to a local hospital with multiple fractures and internal injuries.
It's unclear if he will face any charges.
