FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — On Friday, the Fort Wayne Police Department served a search warrant at two houses.
The first search warrant was served in the 1100 block of Hamilton Ave.
Detectives say they received information about drug dealing at this location.
Police say after buying drug buys several times from 38-year-old Antonio L. Vaughn, they got a search warrant was for both 1115 Hamilton Avenue and 4636 Spatz Avenue.
During the service of the search warrant at Hamilton Avenue, police say there were three people present in the house at the time of the raid.
Vaughn, and two kids were removed from the house and taken into custody, according to the report.
Antonio L. Vaughn was arrested on several drug dealing charges and maintaining a common nuisance.
The Indiana Department of Child Services was contacted and the two juveniles were released to a family member.
During the raid police seized a total of 60 grams in narcotics, two pistols and drug paraphernalia.
In the second search warrant for 4636 Spatz Avenue in relation to this case one man was removed from the house.
He was not charged with any crime.
At this location, detectives seized two guns, one was stolen from a home in New Haven in January, and $5,700 in cash.
The investigation is still in progress.
