Fort Wayne considering refunds for missed trash collection

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne residents could see a refund for missed trash collections.

Thursday, Mayor Tom Henry announced he is working with a task force to look at options to provide monetary relief.

Monday, Red River Waste Solutions started collecting trash using new routes after 10 months of complaints from across the city.

Henry said calls into 311 are down significantly since the new routes began.
