Fort Wayne Police car hit while responding to crash

Police on Stellhorn Road said an officer was responding to a vehicle in a ditch when a truck slid on ice and hit the officer's car.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - No one was seriously hurt after a crash involving three vehicles, including a Fort Wayne Police car. 

Police on Stellhorn Road said an officer was responding to a vehicle in a ditch when a truck slid on ice and hit the officer's car. The squad car was then pushed back into another vehicle. 

Everyone was treated at the scene and released according to police. 

Officers advise drivers to use caution when driving on the slick roads and plan your stops ahead.
