Fort Wayne Fire Department gets new fire trucks

Fort Wayne Fire Department is celebrating a new fire trucks being put into service.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne Fire Department is celebrating a new fire trucks being put into service.

Engine 17 and Engine 8 are replacing a fire trucks from 2005 and 2007.

The Fire Department said the new Engine 17 is capable of pumping more than 1,200 gallons of water per minute.

One will be located at fire station 17 on Getz Road and the other will be at fire station 8 on Rothman Road.
