City of Fort Wayne: Electric Works Preview
“Reasonable people disagree on the wisdom of Electric Works' public funding and whether it was time to pull the plug," 2nd District Councilman Russell Jehl said. "Regardless, we all deserve a real explanation and a plan moving forward, which is why Council members of both sides of the issue signed the letter and President [Tom] Didier is adding Redevelopment to our agenda.”
Councilman Jason Arp, who represents Fort Wayne's 4th district, was the only member to not co-sign the letter.
City council members said the leaders of the redevelopment commission have been invited to address the council in their next open meeting on Aug. 18 at 5:30 p.m.
The meeting will be streamed live on City TV and Facebook.
