FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WFFT) - A Tennessee judge agrees former Lutheran Health Network CEO Brian Bauer disclosed confidential information about the network.
LHN's corporate owners, Franklin, Tennessee-based Community Health Systems, are suing Bauer and five other unnamed defendants for breach of contract, defamation, and tortious interference with business relationships in their attempts to hurt LHN.
Monday, a judge ordered Bauer to stop using information from LHN in his dealings with IU Health.
Bauer needs to recover LHN's protected information and is instructed from soliciting LHN employees for work with IU Health.
CHS spokeswoman Tomi Galin told WFFT in an email "the Court's rulings directly contradict Bauer's repeated and erroneous claims that the litigation against him is "baseless" and "without merit."
Bauer said in a statement he is "excited to move forward with IU Health expanding access to bring high quality healthcare to Fort Wayne."
