Fire damages southeast side house

Fort Wayne firefighters are investigating an early morning blaze that left a southeast side house badly damaged.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- Fort Wayne firefighters are investigating an early morning blaze that left a southeast side house badly damaged.

Crews arrived at 4642 South Park Drive just after 2:00 a.m. Thursday. They found heavy smoke coming from the front of the house. Once inside, they found fire in the front room and part of the kitchen.

The house was vacant at the time of the blaze, and crews were able to bring it under control in about 10 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
