As of 12:41 a.m. Tuesday, the Fort Wayne Police Department canceled the search for Mario, but did not indicate if he was found safe.
Family members of Mario told FOX 55 he has died.
Tori Almazan, Mario's cousin said in the GoFundMe post that " he had the most beautiful soul. Any time you’d see him, he would be in a good mood and know exactly how to make your day. His smile and laugh were contagious. He leaves behind his mother, father, 8 siblings, Mimi, Meemaw and an extensive family of aunts, uncles, grandparents, cousins and friends."
FOX 55 has reached out to the department for confirmation on Mario's death but has not yet received a response.
