FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Investigators are searching for a man they believe was one of two people who left the scene of a crash in downtown Fort Wayne on Easter that left a teenager dead and three others injured.
Investigators with the Fort Wayne Police Department are trying to identify the man show in the photos above in connection to the fatal hit and run crash on Easter morning at the intersection of McKinnie Avenue and Lafayette Street.
The crash killed 17-year-old Samayah Nirobie Barker from Monroe Township in Adams County and three others were hurt.
Two people, who were reportedly in the other car involved, left the crash scene, according to witnesses.
Police say the person they are looking for is described as a Black male, between 5'8"-6' in height, has a slender-average build and is in his 20's.
They believe he may walk with a limp and was wearing a long-sleeve black shirt with blue jeans.
