FWCS students receive HSE diplomas

172 graduates from the Fort Wayne Community Schools Adult and Continuing Education Department walked across the stage to get their diplomas Wednesday evening.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- 172 graduates from the Fort Wayne Community Schools Adult and Continuing Education Department walked across the stage to get their diplomas Wednesday evening.

Students of all ages, and with diverse educational and personal struggles celebrated their accomplishments at North Side High School.

In 2017, the students passed the High School Equivalency exam.

The HSE diploma replaced the General Educational Development certificate in 2014.
