FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Indiana's largest school district will now have its students learn remotely for the remainder of 2020.
Previously, Fort Wayne Community Schools Superintendant Mark Daniel announced that the districts' high schools would have eLearning from Monday, Nov. 23, and would last through this Friday.

Daniel says, "We hope to have students return when second semester begins on Monday, Jan. 4; however, it will depend on the local status of COVID-19 spread."
On Wednesday the Indiana State Department of Health updated its county metrics map and Allen County is among eight counties in the area that are in the red.
FWCS families are still able to pick up weekly meal kits for their high school students on Tuesday, Dec. 8 and 15 from 5-6 p.m. at any of their high schools.
