FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Fort Wayne Community Schools is making it easy for people to sign a petition to get its third construction referendum on the ballot.

Starting Friday, petitions will be available to sign at five different locations in FWCS, including three library branches.

State law requires the district to get 500 signatures from registered voters who live in the district or people who own property in the FWCS boundaries.

Signing the petition doesn't mean you are in favor of the referendum, just you want to have it on the may 2020 ballot.
