FORT WAYNE, Ind (WFFT) - Friends and family are remembering a man who was shot and killed two years ago.

Spencer Smith's family gathered outside East Central Towers Monday evening.

He was shot and killed outside building "A" at the complex during a robbery.

No one's been charged in the shooting, something Smith's grandfather, David Miller, would like to see.

"We need people to come forward and tell what they know. I would think with all the gun violence going on in the community, plus the country, that this community would show more support for these people who has victims who have been lost to gun violence," said Miller.

Miller said he is also planning a September 7 rally outside the courthouse raising awareness to gun violence across the country.
