Donations collected to help families of plane crash victims

The Pipe Creek Fire Department is collecting donations in memory of firefighters David Wittkamper and Kyle Bibst.

ELWOOD, Ind. (WFFT) - People can now help the the families of two people killed in a plane crash at the Marion Municipal Airport.

The Pipe Creek Fire Department is collecting donations in memory of firefighters David Wittkamper and Kyle Bibst.

They died when the single-engine plane they were on was taking off.

The plane clipped a small jet that had just landed and burst into flames.
