President and CEO Dan Starr. “It enables us to keep our roots in the community we’ve called home for 75 years, while at the same time positioning us for a bright future."

New Haven Mayor Steve McMichael released the following statement about the announcement made by Electric Works regarding Do it Best Corp. in New Haven:
“While I am saddened by the news that Do it Best, a great corporate resident of New Haven since 1948, is moving to Electric Works, I am optimistic about the future of the entire Fort Wayne Region of which New Haven is proud to be a big part of. Electric Works is a transformative project for all of Northeast Indiana and the benefits of the project will expand across all of Allen County and Northeast Indiana.”
Construction at Electric Works is expected to begin this summer.
The project is estimated to create nearly 2,000 jobs during the two-year construction phase.
Fort Wayne-based Weigand Construction will be the general contractor, and Fort Wayne-based Bona Vita Architecture will lead the design of the new Do it Best headquarters at Electric Works.
