DECATUR, Ind. (WFFT) — The REV Group and sister company Goldshield Fiberglass will be conducting a “drive-thru” job fair later this week after the demand for recreational vehicles has greatly increased due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The job fair will be from 2-6 p.m. on Thursday and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday in the MERIT Center parking lot, 1109 Dayton St. in Decatur.
The job fair will have employment opportunities for more than 100 workers, according to Northeast Indiana Works.
The companies have openings for assemblers, laborers, maintenance technicians, RV service technicians, painters, welders and electricians.
Officials at both companies said the hirings are directly related to the pandemic as more people are turning to RV's to avoid staying in hotels or traveling by air.
Job seekers are required to create an online profile and apply before the event online by clicking here.
At the event, job seekers should remain in their cars and wait for company representatives to approach them.
The companies ask that those attending wear a face mask.
