FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)  -- The snow can cause many people to slow down, both on the road and in their daily lives.

However, that's not the case for cross-country truck drivers.

Everyday Life in the Snow

Snow, and any other weather elements have simply become part of their workday.

Ohio truck driver Dale Jolly says, "We got caught in the snow, but it's mind over matter. You just keep going."

Whether rain, sleet or snow, essential personnel share the perspective that working through the elements comes without a choice.

However, Illinois truck driver, Sherrie Settles says, "if you're going to do it, stay committed and be positive."

That's how you face the frost like a champ.
