FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- The Allen County Health Department forced Mitchell's Bar and Grill to shut down Wednesday.
The restaurant was found in violation of Governor Holcomb's executive order, designed to slow the spread of the coronavirus.

Jazmin Reyes says it's about time.
“As soon as I got there, it was packed," Reyes said about a recent evening at the establishment. "None of the waitresses were wearing masks, none of the customers were wearing masks."
Courtney Wallace says when someone complained, they said:
“Oh, we’re not going to do that, you can just leave.”
An attorney for Mitchell's released a statement Thursday saying the bar was having a private Christmas party when inspectors investigating the complaints decided to close the restaurant.
The attorney says they’ve attempted to closely adhere to both the Governor’s executive order and Allen County's increased restrictions.
But patrons FOX 55 spoke with on Thursday said the restaurant openly flaunted the law.
“Really they just care about their business and the money coming in," Fort Wayne resident Alle Wims said. "They’ll sacrifice anybody...anybody.”
She and others say they’ve witnessed capacity limits being ignored, tables not being spaced apart, and the establishment staying open past midnight.
“All that goes into a snowball effect and that is his establishment being shut down. And it should,” she said.
Reyes says after seeing the lack of social distancing and other conditions she will never eat there again.
“I’m glad it shut down because I wasn’t going to even go back anyway.”
The Allen County Health Department wants to continue to encourage bar and restaurant-goers to wear masks and social distance when going out.
