FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne Community Schools Board member Jordan Lebamoff has died.
Fellow board member Steve Corona says 54-year old Lebamoff died of heart failure early Sunday morning.
Lebamoff was a proud 1984 alumnus of South Side High School, which he lived nearby and where both of his sons attended.
He served northeast Indiana as a personal injury lawyer for almost 30 years and was elected to the FWCS board in November 2010.
Following in the footsteps of his father, late Fort Wayne mayor Ivan Lebamoff, Jordan resided in his childhood home that his grandparents built.
He is survived by his wife, Nicole, and two sons, Sebastien and Julien Lebamoff.
Fort Wayne Community School Board has 30 days to fill the vacancy of the 9-year board member.
We will provide updates regarding funeral arrangements if provided.
