Crash closes Creighton Street from Clinton to Calhoun

A crash south of downtown brought down a traffic light post Sunday evening.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- A crash south of downtown brought down a traffic light post on Sunday evening.

Police responded just after 6pm Sunday to the area of Creighton and Calhoun.

A red Chevrolet Avalanche truck was stopped at a light, heading north on Calhoun when a black SUV traveling at a high rate of speed side swiped the back of the truck.

The SUV hit a traffic light post, bringing the lights down on top of the vehicle.

No injuries were reported.

A portion of Creighton between Clinton and Calhoun was closed while the crash is cleaned up.
