FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - After USF's first win of the season against St. Francis of Illinois, head coach Kevin Donley said he felt like he had two starting quarterbacks.

That theory will be put to the test on Saturday.

Redshirt freshman Heath Simmons is expected to get the nod under center as Matt Crable sits with a knee injury.

Crable was knocked out early in the third quarter during USF's win over Concordia Ann Arbor.

In Crable's absence, Simmons went 5-for-9 with with 62 yards and an interception.

It was his fourth appearance of the season, but his first in a meaningful game.

He says he'll be able to use it as a learning experience as he gets ready to make his first college start on Saturday against Indiana Wesleyan.

Kickoff is set for noon at Bishop D'Arcy Stadium.
