Congressman Banks talks about DC's 4th of July celebration

The congressman briefed the public on what's going on in Washington during a town hall.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Congressman Jim Banks was back in town Wednesday ahead of the holiday.

The congressman briefed the public on what's going on in Washington during a town hall. He also spoke on the upcoming military parade taking place in Washington DC Thursday, something President Trump has been criticized of.

Banks says he's happy to have a president who's proud of his country.

The festivities in DC will begin with a parade around noon go until the DC fireworks show at 9:00 p.m.
