FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- The Community Harvest Food Bank is making sure no family goes without a turkey this year.
CEO John Wolf said they are in dire need of canned goods.

They are also hoping to raise $40,000.
With the donation of 10,000 pounds of canned goods, Wolf said it will help them get through Thanksgiving and carry them over until Christmas.
However, they need volunteers to make it successful.
"We have seven that are doing us a great job, but again our volunteer numbers are down. With COVID, folks have been relatively hesitant to come in. If anyone is able to help us, get a hold of us here at the food bank. You can go to cfhb.org," Wolf said.
On Saturdays, they need about 50 volunteers to hand out food, but if they have a repeat of last Saturday they'll need more.
Turkey donations will still be accepted after Thursday even though the Turkey Rally wrapped up.
