CHURUBUSCO, Ind. (WFFT) -- Churubusco Jr.-Sr. High School has canceled classes for Friday, Oct. 2 after a school tragedy.
The school posted the news on its Facebook account around 9 p.m. Thursday.

In a letter to parents, Smith-Green Community Schools Superintendent Daniel Hile wrote "one of our students has passed away."
Hile's letter says the school will be open during the day Friday to students who would like to speak to counselors or pastors.
