FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Fort Wayne's newest disc golf course is officially open.

The course at Tillman Park is the region's only championship caliber course.

This means the course might be more challenging with many par 4s and par 5s.

The Fort Wayne Disc Golf Club says the course is already brining people from across the region to the city's south side.

"I spoke to a gentlemen (Friday) morning that was 60 years old, that traveled one way an hour and a half because he heard about this course, just to play two rounds then drive back home," said Brian Miller, who helped design the course.

Shoaff and Swinney parks also have disk golf courses.
