FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT)- A car fire was among three reported in Fort Wayne Thursday morning.
It started just before 7:30 a.m. at 1622 Lake Avenue. When crews arrived they found a car engulfed in flames and the fire had extended to the house next door. The house suffered fire damage to both the first and second floor. No injuries were reported during the car fire.
Another fire was reported just before 8:00 a.m. in the 5200 block of Stonehedge Blvd at Canterbury Green Apartments. Multiple apartments were damaged in the fire.
A couple hours later, a fire was reported at 3526 South Park Drive. No injuries were reported, but crews told WFFT their resources were stretched thin.
All three fires are still under investigation.
