BUTLER, Ind. (WFFT) -- A Butler man has died after police say he drove an off-road vehicle into the path of a car Saturday.
The crash happened at 12:30 p.m. in the 2200 block of State Road 1 in DeKalb County, just north of Butler.

DeKalb County Sheriff's deputies say 68-year-old Michael Slentz was riding a Kawasaki Mule southbound in the grass when they say he attempted to cross the road.
Deputies say he didn't see the Pontiac Grand-Am heading northbound and the two vehicles collided.
Slentz was pronounced dead at the scene.
Deputies say he was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The 16-year-old driver of the Pontiac had scratches to her arms.
Indiana Conservation officers say the driver was unable to avoid the crash, which remains under investigation.
