FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - The Boys and Girls Club plans on teaching future generations the trades.
The club announced its "Project Blueprint" partnership during a beam topping ceremony Monday afternoon.

The ceremony got moved inside because of the weather.
"Project Blueprint" will allow people in the trades to come to the Boys and Girls Club and teach kids some of the skills needed in the trades.
"I think it is important our kids see all opportunities. The trades is an industry that people don't know about it, it provides great jobs," said Boys and Girls Club CEO Joe Jordan.
The Boys and Girls Club hopes to move into their new building in the spring.
