FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Blackhawk Christian junior forward Caleb Furst announced his decision to commit to Purdue to continue his basketball career via his Twitter Monday night.

A four-star recruit, Furst is the second ranked player in the state in his class, and chose the Boilermakers over Indiana, Michigan State, Louisville, Virginia, Butler, Ohio State and Maryland, among several others.
Furst helped lead Blackhawk to a 1A state title as a sophomore, and has led the Braves to a 20-3 record as a junior, averaging 22.3 points, 13.5 rebounds and 1.9 blocks per game.
