FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Bennett Skowronek announced his decision to graduate transfer to Notre Dame on Wednesday night, and on Thursday he spoke with FOX 55 about his decision.
Skowronek began his college football career at Northwestern, where he played four seasons, hauling in 110 receptions for over 1,400 yards and eight touchdowns.

Skowronek was a team captain in his final season in Evanston, but had his year cut short, suffering a lower leg injury in his third game.
Skowronek says he is healthy, and will participate in spring ball with the Fighting Irish.
