HUNTERTOWN, Ind. (WFFT) -- Some businesses in Huntertown are helping a local band find a place to play.
The band Cadence put together a makeshift concert back in April to help fill the void for their fans, and the band is giving back to the businesses that have been hurting during the pandemic.
"We obviously miss being in clubs and bars where we can make money and see crowds," says Gene Fugate.
Fugate and his band have been itching to play, and found a place in Huntertown right next to his shop.
"To get out, play some music and support some local businesses out here," he says. "We love to perform out here with people."
FOX 55's Chris Mullooly reports how the benefit benefited businesses near the concert, and their plan for the future.
