Auto accident on County Road 47 hospitalizes two Butler teens

The car went down an embankment, hitting a utility pole before rolling 4-5 times.

A Nissan Altima was traveling south bound on County Road 47. The driver, 18 year old Alejandro Davis of Butler, IN, was advised that an animal was in the roadway by his passenger, 15 year old Jack Lockhart, also of Butler, IN.

Davis swerved to miss the animal and went off the roadway on the west side. The car went down an embankment hitting a utility pole before rolling 4-5 times. Both the driver and passenger were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center by EMS. Davis reported head pain, while Lockhart was reported to be suffering from lacerations and facial swelling. Both occupants were wearing seat belts.
