FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Police arrest a man in connection to a recent homicide.
The Fort Wayne Police Department said 56-year-old Tommy Lyles was arrested on a preliminary charge of murder Tuesday.

He is charged in connection to the death of James Hines.
UPDATE: Police say Lyles has been exonerated and on Sept. 30 dropped the murder charge against him.
That shooting happened on Lewis Street on Sept. 22 at 11:22 p.m.
Hines was found shot in the street and he later died.
Detectives say Lyles could face additional charges regarding this case.
