FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) - Memorial Day is the unofficial start of summer and that means pools around the area will be opening up.
Fort Wayne Parks Department announced Northside Pool will be open this Memorial Day weekend beginning on Saturday.
However, both Northside and McMillen pools will not be open for the summer until Tuesday, June 4th.
The pool at Memorial Park is tentitively scheduled to open on June 15th.
Over in New Haven, Jury Pool will open for the season on Saturday. Their hours are 12:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with limited hours on Memorial Day and 4th of July.
All Fort Wayne city spraygrounds will be open for the season starting Saturday at 9:00 a.m.
