FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Health officials announced that 485 more people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Allen County bringing the total to 15,374 as of Wednesday.
The Allen County Department of Health reported one new death Wednesday increasing the total to 274 for the county.

The Allen County case count now includes a total of 2,867 probable cases from antigen tests reported since July 28.
ACDH says positive antigen tests, which are counted as probable COVID-19 cases, are now included in the department’s contact tracing efforts along with confirmed polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test results.
The department said PCR results have always been used to identify positive COVID-19 cases since the start of the pandemic.
The Allen County case count now includes a total of 2,867 probable cases from antigen tests reported since July 28.

Testing for COVID-19 is now available by request statewide at Optum testing sites.
TESTING: Allen County Department of Health opens 2 new COVID-19 testing sites
In Allen County, the Indiana State Department of Health's OptumServe COVID-19 testing clinic is located at New Covenant Worship Center, 3420 E. Paulding Rd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816.
Testing is available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Testing is for anyone living or working in Indiana by appointment only and must be scheduled in advance online or by phone at 888-634-1116.
No COVID-19 symptoms or pre-existing conditions are required for testing.
