FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) — Authorities in Allen County are investigating how four people died Monday night in a northwest Fort Wayne home.
On Monday, just before 9 p.m., deputies with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department were called to a house in the 7100 block of West Cook Road, for a report of gunshots being fired inside the home.
ACSD says when officers arrived at the scene they went after seeing multiple people down inside the home through a window.
One person was able to get out safely, according to police.
Paramedics pronounced the four people inside dead at the scene.
The Allen County Coroner’s Office will identify the four people who died, as well as their cause and manners of death at a later date.
ACSD says officers are not looking for any suspects at this time and there is no reason to believe that the public is in any danger.
