LARWILL, Ind. (WFFT) — State police say they arrested a Noble County man who is accused of raping a woman at a local campsite last year.
Indiana State Police say after a six-month-long rape investigation, 25-year-old Mathew J. Clark of Albion was arrested early Sunday morning.
ISP says their investigation began in October 2020, after a detective received information that Clark allegdly raped an 18-year-old Whitley County woman at the Deniston camping area located in Larwil back in June.
Investigators say they were able to get an arrest warrant for Clark on March 4 and he was found at a home in Mishawaka.
Clark is being held at the Whitley County Jail, where he remains on a $100,000 bond pending a court appearance.
