The Homestead boys tennis team is getting ready for a trip to state. The Spartans are making their 19th overall appearance at the state tournament, but their first since 2009.
Homestead has never won a state title, but the state's fourth ranked Spartans are feeling pretty good heading in to the weekend as they get set to face Park Tudor.
The Spartans will square off with Park Tudor in the state quarterfinals Friday afternoon. Their match is slated for 3 p.m.
