AVILLA, Ind. (WFFT) -- Three more patients at a Noble County nursing home have died from COVID-19, two weeks after one patient died and multiple others were diagnosed.
Dr. Terry Gaff, Noble County's Health Officer, says all four were patients at Sacred Heart Home in Avilla.

They now make up all of the deaths reported in Noble County at this point.
The facility reported its first death and multiple cases on April 3.
"We know that this is especially heartbreaking for family and friends who must be kept away from loved ones in their final hours," Gaff wrote in a statement.
Last week Lutheran Life Villages in Kendallville reported seven patients were diagnosed with COVID-19.
No deaths have been reported.
