AUBURN, Ind. (WFFT) — Three people are in jail for their alleged roles in a Memorial Day robbery at a pharmacy store in Auburn.
On Monday at around 2:40 p.m. the Auburn Police Department responded to the report of a theft at the CVS Pharmacy on 934 W. 7th St.
Officers say when they arrived to the CVS they saw a man leaving the business who matched the description of the suspect.
Then, police say, the male got into a car with two other people inside and tried to drive off.
APD says they were able to stop the vehicle and arrest all three people.
After searching the car officers say they found numerous stolen items from both CVS and Dollar General as well as drugs and drug paraphernalia.
APD says the value of the stolen alcohol alone was over $1,500.
The man who police saw leaving the CVS was identified as 56-year-old Douglas M. Wolf of Petersburg, Illinois.
Wolf was charged with theft, possession of cocaine of a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia.
The driver of the car was identified as 55-year-old Jeffrey T. Hendricks of Fort Wayne.
Hendricks is charged with possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug, driving while suspended with a prior and possession of paraphernalia.
The third person arrested was 54-year-old Michelle M. Hendricks also of Fort Wayne.
She was also charged with possession of cocaine or a narcotic drug and possession of paraphernalia.
