AUBURN, Ind. (WFFT) — Detectives from the Auburn Police Department arrested two people on separate charges.

Police arrested 21-year-old Deazah Derrial Edwards of Fort Wayne on charges of prostitution Thursday evening.

On Friday afternoon Auburn police made an additional arrest from a separate investigation, which led them to another suspect.

Police arrested 42-year-old Lawrence Anthony Wright of Auburn.

Detectives discovered Wright had active warrants out of Lee County, Mississippi for armed robbery.

Both Edwards and Wright are being held at the DeKalb County Jail.

Officers say Wright is expected to be extradited to Mississippi.

Police say these two investigations are not related.
