FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WFFT) -- Police say one person was shot to death and two more wounded at a party early Sunday morning.
Fort Wayne Police Department Officers say they responded to 1100 E. Lewis St. at 3:55 a.m. after receiving a call that a man had been shot in the leg.
Sgt. Sofia Rosales-Scatena says when they arrived they actually found three adult victims.
One person was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other victims were taken to a local hospital with what police believe are non-life-threatening injuries.
Officers say there had been as many as 100 people at the party during the night, and that several were present when the shooting happened.
Rosales-Scatena says they're asking for those who were there to call the department's homicide detectives.
