Thursday, the annual Bowl for Kids' Sake kicked off its six-week campaign to raise $250,000 to support 250 new matches across northeast Indiana and south-central Michigan. Community members Bigs and Littles both attended the events. Who was also in attendance? Israel. He's a 9-year-old and one of the many Littles who needs a Big Brother to hang out with.

Israel likes sports and wants to go to a game one day with his Big.

"I like basketball, football and baseball."

And he plays sports too. "Basketball, I'm doing that right now. "

He also likes to read fiction books, cook eggs, watch comedies, go to arcades and "chill".

Israel says that if he won a million dollars, he wouldn't keep a dime.

"I would give to Big brothers Big Sisters, schools, charities."

Israel says Big Brothers Big Sisters has helped him become a leader.

"Doing the right stuff at the right time and doing things when I'm supposed to."
