A couple of years ago we introduced you to the Doggie Fountain on Locally Made Monday.

Local inventor Tony Lytle still makes the canine contraption, and now a new national manufacturer is selling it as the 'Pawcet.'

And they're selling it just in time for the upcoming warm season.

FOX 55's Andrew Logsdon shows us in this week's Locally Made Monday.

You remember this- the Doggie Fountain.

And so do these doggos.

It's back for this summer as the 'Pawcet.'

"The one that I made, my original ones, we made at my shop, fabrication shop, in larwill. And we made it out of aluminum, brass, and stainless (steel). Now, this new one... They're made out of plastic and a little metal. So it's a little bit different. But it's still an awesome product," Lytle says.

And it works the exact same way as the original Doggie Fountain.

"You train your dog to step on the paddle, and the water comes up, shoots up. You can adjust it, it's got a valve, and you can totally adjust it. You just hook it up to your garden hose, adjust the flow, and the water comes up, and your dog has access to cold, clean, fresh water at all times," Lytle says.

Lytle is working with companies Quirky and Viatech, and this spring, the Home Shopping Network is featuring the Pawcet on air.

"I was working with Quirky several years ago, back in 2013-2014. And they brought it to market. It did really well. It sold out three different times... It's going to be on HSN. This is kind of the big release, the big coming out, if you will," Lytle says.

Even with the new name and manufacturing, it's still the same fountain, and Lytle's same invention, from twelve years ago.

"Oh yea. It's got my picture, and it's got my name on the back of the packaging... I'm totally excited. I've been working on this thing since 2006, and now it's 2018," Lytle says.

Now your pupper can have a heckin' good time outside when it gets hot.
