Gas prices decrease in Fort Wayne

Gas prices are on the decline here in the summit city. According to GasBuddy.com, prices in the summit city have fallen nine and a half cents in the past week. The average is now $2.88 a gallon.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. - Gas prices are on the decline here in the summit city.

According to GasBuddy.com, prices in the summit city have fallen nine and a half cents in the past week. The average is now $2.88 a gallon.


According to GasBuddy.com, prices in the summit city have fallen nine and a half cents in the past week.

The price compares closely to the national average of $2.86 a gallon. Prices on Sunday were more than 60 cents a gallon higher than they were a year ago. The national average is up more than 52 cents from this time last year.

A petroleum expert says prices will most likely stay below $3.00 a gallon for the time being.
